Father Cornelius Curtin, S.J. passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at the age of 86. Father Curtin was born on September 12, 1925, in Chicago, Illinois. A Jesuit for 68 years, Fr. Curtin served as a parish priest and teacher in India for 40 years. Since 1999, Father Curtin resided at Colombiere Center in Clarkston.
Dear brother of Sr. Margaret Ann, SSND, Sr. Joan Marie, SSND, Lawrence, John D., Margaret Healy, Sr. Susan M., SSND, Michael, and Dennis Curtin, and the late Eileen Janousek.
Arrangements were handled by A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road, Troy (248 362 2500). His funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Colombiere Center.
